DOVER NEWS: Taco Bell plans second location; city receives generous donation

FAST FOOD CHAIN PLANNING SECOND LOCATION DOVER
DOVER – Taco Bell is planning to build a new restaurant on the city’s north side. It will be next to the North Wooster Avenue Drug Mart with its entrance on Dublin Drive. Mayor Shane Gunnoe says Taco Bell will be on the agenda for the Architectural Review Board this week and the Planning Commission next week. Taco Bell already has a restaurant in Dover on Boulevard Street. The Taco Bell announcement follows recent news that ALDI is planning to build a grocery store in the same vicinity.
Meanwhile, Dover City Council Monday approved the annexation of about 32 ½ acres from Dover Township. The move is an early step in Lawver Homes plan to build more than 50 condos and about 30 houses at that site, now in northeast Dover.
