Dennison to name downtown square in honor of Greg DiDonato

DENNISON (WTUZ) (Dec. 8, 2025) – The village of Dennison is honoring mayor Greg DiDonato with a bronze plaque for all of his contributions over the years.

Village Council recently approved legislation naming the intersection of North 3^rd Street and Grant Street as DiDonato Square, as spearheaded by administrative assistant Tammie Taggert, who collected donations.

Solicitor Patrick Williams read the resolution, which acknowledges DiDonato as Dennison’s longest serving mayor. The resolution also lists how DiDonato served in the Ohio House and Senate and has been involved with numerous civic organizations.

A dedication ceremony placing the plaque will be announced at a later date.
