TCC & BCC Welcome Students Back After Staggered Starts
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Aug. 21, 2026) – Buckeye Career Center and Tuscarawas Central Catholic welcome their full student bodies back today after staggered starts earlier this week.
TCC Jr./Sr. High School is bringing sophomores through seniors back as part of its grade-level rolling schedule, Principal Jennifer Calvo said.
Buckeye Career Center also wrapped up orientation days, which brought in about 300 students at a time each day from their home schools. Marketing Coordinator Shyanne Carroll said today marks the first day all students are together.
Buckeye is starting the 2026-2027 school year with a record enrollment of about 1,300 high school students as it celebrates its 50th year.
