A Tale of Two Immigrants at Dover Library
The event
As part of the observation of Hispanic Heritage, Dover Public Library will host Dominic Gongale (pro: gun gall ee) and Geovany Itzep Santiago at the Dover Public Library on Wednesday, September 20th. The two men immigrated to the USA in two different eras of our history: Gangale from Italy in 1960 and Itzep Santiago from Guatemala in 2010. Each one will share their personal decision to come to the United States and how they got here. They will talk about the challenges they faced and the adjustments they made in order to have a brighter future here. The program will be held at 6:30pm.
