Adopt a ‘Pet’ program at Dover Library

The event

On Saturday, January 21st, during story time, the Dover Library will have an Adopt a “Pet” program. Kids will be able to pick out a cute stuffed pet and then take their pet to a vet assistant to be checked out. The children will make a name tag and collar and listen to staff from the Humane Society give an update of what is happening at their facility. The children’s department is collecting items in January for the Humane Society and ask each attendant to bring an item for the shelter. A list of needed items can be picked up at the library.
