Cholesterol screening at Dover Library

In recognition of February as American Heart Month, Dover Public Library is collaborating with Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital to raise awareness about heart health. On Go Red Day, Friday, February 2nd, hospital staff will be at the library between 9am and 11am to offer blood pressure check and a 5-minute instant screening for cholesterol, good and bad cholesterol, as well as triglycerides and blood sugar. The most accurate results are achieved with a 12-hour fast. The cost is $9. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted on a limited basis.
