The event
Dr. Randi Pokladnik, a retired but active research chemist and writer, will present a program entitled Effects of Plastics and Microplastics in Our Bodies and the Environment on Earth Day, which is Saturday, April 22nd at 1pm. In addition to giving a brief history on plastics and how they are made, she will explain the environmental and health effects plastics have on humans and the planet.
