Flax paper making at Dover Library
The event
The children’s department at the Dover Public Library is welcoming Jessika Raisor to the library on Monday, August 21st at 2pm. Jessika will offer a program for kids to learn the process of making paper from flax. In late spring seeds were planted at the library and are now ready for harvest. The program will include collecting the flax plants and cutting them for the paper making process. Kids get to take home a piece of processed paper to dry and use for an art piece. The program will last approximately an hour. To register call 330-343-6123.
