Juneteenth holiday programs at Main Library

The event

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System’s Main Library will be hosting programs throughout the month of June for every age range to celebrate the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. Each Monday in June at 6pm, the library will host a Juneteenth Film Festival. A list of films is available on the library’s website. On Tuesday, June 14th at 6pm the library will host Dr. Leslie Heaphy from Kent State Stark to discuss the History of Juneteenth. Teens will have a chance to learn about Juneteenth and the Journey of Emancipation from Spring Hill Site Manager Kayla Metzger on Wednesday, June 15th at 3pm. A special story time will be held on Friday, June 17th at 11am to celebrate this joyful holiday. To register visit TuscLibrary.org
