The event

The Dover Library hosts Fred Wyman on Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30pm for a program about the Johnstown Flood. Wyman will present a brief overview of the early history of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He will discuss the reasons that the dam failed to contain the floodwaters that caused 2200 people to lose their lives in 1889. Wyman will show pictures of what Johnstown looked like before and after the flood. You can register for the program online at DoverLibrary.org or call 330-343-6123.
