The Tuscarawas County Public Library System recognizes the important role that parents and caregivers play in their education, and, with this in mind, the library incorporates information about early literacy skills into its storytimes to help parents and caregivers equip children with the tools they need to be ready to read upon entering kindergarten. Storytimes provide an opportunity for children and parents to come together which helps to build key social skills in children and to create friendships among parents. Storytime is set to begin again the week of January 15th and run through the week of March 18th. Each branch of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System has weekly storytime offerings to attend. Storytimes may include songs, crafts, movement, and more. Registration is required for storytimes and may be completed online at TuscLibrary.org or by calling your nearest location.
