The Village of Dennison will be sweeping the streets on Wednesday, August 3rd beginning at 6am. The South Side and Thornwood Park will be swept first. The Village asks all residents to remove their automobiles by 6am and keep them off the street until it has been swept.

The New Philadelphia City Health Department will be spraying for mosquitos on Wednesday, August 3rd on the South Side. Spraying will begin around 8:45pm. Persons with respiratory problems should take appropriate actions.

The Grace United Methodist Church is distributing free backpacks filled with some school supplies on Saturday, August 6th between 10am and noon (or until supply runs out). They will be handed out in the church parking lot: 534 West First Street in Uhrichsville.
