Organizations pick Tuscarawas County’s 40 Leading Ladies for 2025

| March 28, 2025

Tuscarawas County’s 40 Leading Ladies for 2025 include business owners, journalists, organization leaders, government officials, educators and more.

Here at WJER and WTUZ we want to specifically recognize our own Mary-Alice McClintock for being honored. The complete list is below.

The Leading Ladies will be recognized for this prestigious honor at Kent State Tuscarawas on the morning of Friday, June 6, at the Women’s Success Series Speakers Program.

The Leading Ladies are selected by three partnering organizations: the Women’s Success Series Steering Committee, and the Lucille Nussdorfer Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year Award Steering Committee and the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce.

They provided this statement:

“As we celebrate Women’s History Month, a partnership was created between three Tuscarawas County organizations that support women in leadership to celebrate the 40 Leading Ladies in our county who have the biggest impact as a community leader. Two of the partners, the Women’s Success Series Steering Committee, and the Lucille Nussdorfer Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year Award Steering Committee, are the two leading organizations actively recognizing female leadership with an inspiration women’s leadership speaker’s series and awards each year.  The third partner, the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, is a leader in recognizing economic development excellence.

“The partnership divided the top 40 Leading Ladies into two categories, 20 women over 40 years of age and 20 women aged 40 and under.  The women were selected based on their impact at their place of business, impact in their field and their leadership in the community.”
