Stuff the Bus for preschoolers this weekend at Walmart
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (August 1, 2024) – Stuff the Bus is Friday and Saturday at the New Philadelphia Walmart, presented by the United Way of Tuscarawas County to help Harcatus Head Start Preschoolers.
Susan Reidenbach with the United Way hopes people stop by from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. those days to donate items that 3- to 5-year-old kids would need for school (click on the picture to see the full list).
Reidenbach says they purposely have this event during Ohio’s sales tax holiday. She suggests people buying school supplies throw a couple of extra items in their cart for the donation drive.
There are also collection boxes at several area businesses, including McInturf Realty, Twin City Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, along with the city offices in Dover and New Philadelphia.
