| January 14, 2026

NEW PHILADELPHIA (Jan. 14, 2026) – The State Highway Patrol New Philadelphia Post says an 82-year-old Carrolton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on County Road 54 in Carroll County on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. when Frankie Bouslaugh, driving a 2009 Honda Fit, crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming 2016 Ram pickup.

The Honda veered into a ditch, while the Ram struck a guardrail. Bouslaugh was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 21-year-old driver of the Ram from West Virginia and his passenger were uninjured. Authorities report that alcohol is not suspected, and Bouslaugh was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
