DUNDEE – A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise money for the couple who lost everything in a house fire in Dundee Monday morning.

Family members say Larry Phillabaum and Erin Walton are awake and recovering at a Cleveland medical center after escaping the fire by jumping from a porch roof at the house in the 6700 block of state Route 93.

The GoFundMe account is called “Support Larry and Erin After the House Fire.” As of early Tuesday afternoon it had raised just over $3,000 toward an $11,000 goal. It says they lost everything, including vehicles, cell phones and more, in the fire that officials say totally destroyed the home.

The State Fire Marshall is still investigating the cause.

The GoFundMe page says both Larry and Erin took in a lot of smoke and Larry is severely burnt on his face, arms, hands and leg. The goal is to offset what they lost and help pay for medical bills as both will be out of work for a bit. It also asks for clothing donations, with sizes provided.
