TCC to Break Ground on New Fieldhouse
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Aug. 10. 2026) – Tuscarawas Central Catholic is inviting the community to help mark the start of construction on its new Fieldhouse and Community Center.
The school will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday at 2 p.m.
Principal Jennifer Calvo says the ceremony marks a major milestone in the school’s Building on Excellence Campaign – which has raised about $8 million – with Bishop Earl K. Fernandes scheduled to attend as the special guest speaker.
The approximately 24,000-square-foot facility is expected to transform the campus by adding much-needed practice space for all sports, along with amenities for the broader community.
Calvo says the goal is to have construction finished and the fieldhouse open by next fall.
