Vacation Bible Schools

Kids are getting out of school and summer is about to begin. Soon there will be Vacation Bible Schools in our area. Here is a list of Vacation Bible Schools we have received. Feel free to send your VBS information to add to this list. Just email the information to wjer@wjer.com

Vacation Bible School 2026 will be hosted at the First Moravian Church of Dover from June 8 to June 12. At Celebrations VBS, kids learn that God’s love for us is a reason to celebrate! We will explore five examples of celebrations from the Bible through stories, music, prayer, crafts, games, science experiments, service projects and snacks. Celebrations VBS is for kids aged four and up who have completed at least one year of preschool to kids who have just completed fifth grade and will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon each day. Faith Christian Church in New Philadelphia is hosting a Vacation Bible School from June 7th through the 10th, running each evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at our church (2012 Pleasant Valley Road NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). This is for preschool through 5th grade. Families can register their kids at fccnp.org/vbs

Bowerston Methodist Churches VICTORY VBS will be held at First Church on Jarvis St in Bowerston starting June 15 thru June 19 from 6 to 8:30pm. Our age groups will be from 3yr old to 12yr old. VICTORY VBS is offered from the go fish guys website. Children attending will learn about courage, obedience, faith, unity, and Jesus. Come out and join us for a fun week of music, games, snacks, crafts, and bible lessons. We can’t wait to see you and bring a friend or 2.

VBS is almost here! This year’s theme is “Rescue Ready,” and it will be held from 5–8 PM on June 24, 25, and 26 at the First Church of the Nazarene. Kids from Pre-K (ages 3 and potty trained) through 5th grade are invited to join us for fun-filled evenings of Bible stories, snacks, crafts, games, and music.
