Vacation Bible Schools
Kids are getting out of school and summer is about to begin. Soon there will be Vacation Bible Schools in our area. Here is a list of Vacation Bible Schools we have received. Feel free to send your VBS information to add to this list. Just email the information to wjer@wjer.com
Vacation Bible School at Legacy Church in New Philadelphia begins July 9 and meets weekly for five weeks. Because each week builds on the last, registration is for the entire 5-week experience. We understand that occasional absences happen, but we encourage families to plan for their child/children to participate throughout the series.
Each Thursday runs from 5 to 8 pm and includes a snack.
Our VBS:
– is free of cost.
– is free of cost.
– open for any ages from preK to those going into 5th grade.
– is capped at 40 children.
– will meet at Legacy Church, 233 Front Ave. SW, New Philadelphia from 5-8pm on Thursdays

Prairie Chapel Methodist Church (45494 CR 23, Coshocton) will host Vacation Bible School for children advancing to age 4 through completion of 6th Grade the week of July 20-23 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM each day. Pastor Carolyn Christman has announced that the theme for the program this year is Rainforest Falls. Rainforests are a wonderful place of refuge, rich and restorative and God created these life-giving and life saving places for his creatures. Each day the children will enjoy songs, Bible adventures as we explore God’s character, snacks, games, and create crafts while making new friends or enjoying time with familiar ones. There will be BIG fun on the final day (weather permitting) with an evening program at 8:00 PM for parents and families to attend. The children will also be invited to voluntarily donate items or money to the local animal shelter as we care for God’s creatures.
